Wireless system for horticultural area Heemskerk
Last year, Ton Bakker, owner of Ton Bakker Techniek, retired. Ton was one of SERCOM’s first dealers and he left behind a considerable installed base that depended on his service. Sercom dealer Installatieburo Eval bv from Rijnsburg in particular is now active within this region and quickly installed a very interesting project.
The CM van Duivenvoorde company has been using a Sercom (SC600) vent control computer for over 20 years. Due to recent expansion of activities and required functionalities, there was a need for a new process computer. They then opted for the wireless variant that can control up to 16 field stations within a radius of 5 kilometres.
At CM van Duivenvoorde’s company, there is one central SC800 process computer with 4 wireless field stations. The new computer will be commissioned at the end of May.
